While internet surfing, i came across a pair of futuristic but edgy pair of eyewear by Kerin Rose. One pair makes you think that your're living in a time where everywhere is controlled by techno and fashion ruled. The second pair had this kind of gothic feel to them with an edge. Its like you can wear them to a funeral which revolve around sadness and the main dress code color which is black and still turn heads. When i saw these glasses all i saw was a dare. "I dare you to wear these," "I bet you won't wear these." All this came across my mind at once. Kerin Rose eyewear is nothing but dares to stand out and be different.

I wanted to explore different designers of who i was familiar with and whos style i liked. As i did my research i found over 50 designers who caught my eye, from Chanel to Versace, i was eagered to load my brain with amazing knowledge about these designers. My main pick was Coco Chanel because she had this classy, modern look. Dresses with pearls make any female look classy. I wanted to study Chanel and how she became the power house she is today. Coco wanted to be different and elegant without showing so much skin. And as i kept researching like a scienctist, i notice this is how i wanted my style to be. It was like she was creating a boyish look but with a touch of class. From collarless jackets to handbags with shoulder straps made of gold chains, Chanel made a statement. I learned she began designing hats in Paris 1908 and worked her way up to be the famous designer she is. Every aspect of her is how i realized what i wanted my style to be.

The Beginning Of My Fashion Journey

As i embark on my journey i decided to start out a new year with daring myself. Shopping in different stores and picking up pieces that no one else would dare put on. One store i visited was holding a clarence sale and i said why not, im on a budget any way. As i strolled through the clarence rack, i begin to pick up pieces i liked, and these were pieces no one bothered to put on, my limit was 50 bucks or less but you would never guess how much i paid for these pieces *telling with excitement* i scored two amazing dresses, glam tops, and casual shorts with floral prints. It didnt cross my mind to shop for pumps or stilettos because i was thinking about what i already had in my closet. Im a curvy girl so i had to go up a size so that the pieces would fit my frame, As i approach the check out counter with the items i choose, the sales girl looked at me awkwardly like..what is she doing with these hidious clothes?! I was hearing the negative opinions without her even saying a word, i gave her the ten and left.
